These new french doors were installed to fit in an existing jamb that was 1/2" higher on the right
side than the left and 3/8ths" out of vertical plane from side to side at the threshold. On the left side the exterior jamb door stop was cut with a router
on a 1/4" to 0" taper from top to bottom in order to align the center door planes from top to bottom.
The active door was mortised for a Van Morris lock-set and both doors had new Van Morris 4" brass hinges mortised in.

Door Options
(1) Installation of Entry and French doors, patio sliders and fire rated garage man doors.(2) Remove existing out-dated interior doors while leaving the casings intact and installing new doors. (3) Upgrading hardware, the hinges and lock-sets/door knobs. (4) Installing a different style of door casing, crown molding and/or base board. (5)Remove old casing, jamb and door to install new casing, jamb and door. |
